Global Expert Talk on the ‘Role of Technology Innovation and Change in Post COVID-19’ and the Induction Programme Made it a Warm Welcome for the PGDM Students

Mr. Ashish Patel, Managing Director, Morgan Franklin, USA, delivered an impactful session under the Global Expert Talk Series at IMS, Ghaziabad on December 17, 2020. He spoke on the theme – ‘Role of Technology Innovation and Change in Post COVID-19’ and discussed the global challenges and remedies with his unique insights on ‘We are fine’ approach, Brick & Mortar Operations, Digital Divide, Region Concentric Shared Services Approach, Occupational Disruptions and Business Silos.

This special talk was organized as part of the Induction Programme for PGDM students of Term II and Term V. The programme commenced with the Inaugural Address by the hon’ble Director, Prof. (Dr.) Urvashi Makkar who discussed the change that has taken place over the decades with the advent of the technology and emphasized that we should revamp our thought process. She quoted Swami Vivekananda- ‘If you stop learning today, you will stop surviving tomorrow’ which was appreciated by all present.
