An Expert Talk on “Emerging Career Opportunities in Finance’ was organized by IMS, Ghaziabad on Thursday, December 24, 2020 during which the Internationally acclaimed expert, Dr. Satish Kumar, Associate Professor, MNIT, Jaipur, adorned the theme with his deep insights and deliberations. The programme commenced with the Inaugural Address by the Director, Prof. (Dr.) Urvashi Makkar who quoted Oscar Wilde –‘to define is to limit’ and ignited the students to be an inquisitive learner all their lives and remain updated even beyond their regular curriculums. She accentuated the importance of building relationships and professional networks for a flourishing career.

The expert of the day, Dr. Satish Kumar, illuminated various coveting career opportunities in Finance for the student and weighed the significance of a powerful LinkedIn profile. The students availed the opportunity and got their countless curiosities quenched. Dr. Kumar, an alumnus of IIT-Roorkee, has delivered more than 50 expert talks globally. He has been felicitated with distinguished awards for his exemplary contribution to education including ‘Dewang Mehta Best Faculty Award 2016’, ‘Young Researcher Award 2017’ and ‘Outstanding Young Management Researcher Award 2018’ by AIMS-International, USA. Dr. Kumar has more than 80 research publications to his credit in A* and A category ABDC journals and with the renowned international publishers such as Science Direct, Emerald, Wiley, Taylor and Francis, Inderscience and Sage.
