The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at IMS Ghaziabad organized Students Coordinators Council Meeting and Interaction on July 13, 2021 (Tuesday), under the chairpersonship, Prof. Dr. Urvashi Makkar , Director, IMS Ghaziabad to discuss ideas submitted by students and encourage for innovations and entrepreneurial initiatives.

The meeting was chaired by the Director, where she shared her experience and insights with start-ups & innovative products concerning solving general problems faced in personal & professional activities. She motivated the students to be passionate about their ideas and develop lateral thinking, to create entrepreneurial spirit amongst the student’s fraternity inside the campus. Each student shared their innovative ideas like hobby café, goal achiever, social initiatives, Recycling Agri Waste etc. As Students coordinators, they also shared how they will be contributing to the promotion of the culture of entrepreneurship with innovation in the Institution. Dr. Ajay kumar Patel President, CIE, Dr Naveen Virmani, Coordinator-IPR & Internship Activity, Dr Laxmi Pandey, Coordinator-Innovation Activity, Rajnesh Jain, Coordinator-Startup Activity and Ms Varsha Sharma, Coordinator-Social Media Activity, shared their inputs and suggested students to analysis on feasibility and implementation of the ideas presented.

The students were also guided on the numerous government initiatives nurturing start-ups and innovation as entrepreneurs. Each student council member was full of enthusiasm to work towards the common goal of CIE with utmost effort. The meeting was concluded by Dr Naveen Virmani by thanking Prof. Dr. Urvashi Makkar for sparing time to interact with students and enthusing students to explore their entrepreneurial acumen.
