With continued academic excellence as a focal point, IMS Ghaziabad organized a Re-Orientation Program – “Journey from Campus to Corporate” on August 10, 2021 for PGDM Batch 2020-22. The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest, Mr. Debargha Deb, Head-HR (North Zone), Dabur India and the Keynote Speaker, Dr. Ranjana Mittal, Assistant General Manager, NTPC.
In her Inaugural Address, Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad welcomed the students and congratulated them for successful completion of Summer Internship in reputed companies. She explained the importance of classroom teaching and reinforced that they should inculcate the learnings of SIP as it will help them in grabbing excellent placements.
The students were acquainted with the academic activities planned in the upcoming session along with the various innovative practices introduced for corporate readiness such as Value Added Short Term Training Program, Competency Mapping, Pre Placement Preparedness and Placement Readiness Enhancement Programme. The session served as a morale booster for the final year students who will soon be participating in the excellent placement offerings at IMS Ghaziabad.
