In order to create an entrepreneurial culture amongst its PGDM students, the Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at IMS Ghaziabad, organized Corporate Expert Talks on “Problem Solving and Ideation Workshop” on September 8, 2021 under the vision of Director, Dr. Urvashi Makkar. In her Inaugural address, Dr. Makkar, emphasized the importance of innovation and problem solving in the current disruptive business scenario. She also motivated the students to be interactive with the experts and try to remove all the myths, inhibitions and mental blocks associated with entrepreneurship.
The session was graced by the intellectual deliberations of the Expert Speakers – Mr. Shubham Tyagi, Founder, Fooracles and Mr. Sushil Aggarwal, Chairman, AVRO India Limited, who inspired the budding managers by sharing examples and challenges associated with their own ventures. The speakers took rigorous brainstorming sessions on the practical techniques of ideation and conversion of the idea into a business venture.
The students enthusiastically participated in the workshop and asked numerous questions related to business problems and idea feasibility. The session culminated with the felicitation of the speakers and Vote of Thanks by Dr. Ajay Patel, President, CIE, IMS Ghaziabad.
