Taking forth its legacy of academic excellence with holistic development of the students, IMS Ghaziabad (Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad) organized “Vataayan-2021”, an Inter Institute SIP Presentation Competition on September 15, 2021 at its campus. The session was graced with the esteemed presence of Chief Guest, Mr. Onkareshwar Pandey, Chairman & Editor in Chief, Observer Global Media Group; Presidential Speaker, Dr. Mohan Agarwal, President, Indo Gulf Management Association and Guest of Honor, Dr. Shiv Kumar Tripathi, Director, School of Business Management, Noida International University. In her inaugural address, Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad (Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad) Ghaziabad, emphasized on the critical role of internship in enriching the CV of students.The event witnessed massive participation from institutes spread across not just Delhi & NCR but also from states of Karnataka, West Bengal, Rajasthan and Orissa. More than 40 students from different institutions like FMS- IRM, Jaipur; BIMTECH; Amity Institute of Competitive Intelligence and Strategic Management; JIMS Kalkaji; GLBIMR Greater Noida, Army Institute of Management and Technology, Greater Noida; BBAU, Lucknow; University of Engineering & Management, Calcutta; IMS Ghaziabad and many other, presented their Summer Internship Project work both in online and offline mode.The evaluation was done on the basis of a two stage process of screening and final presentation by shortlisted students before the jury. The First Position was grabbed by Tejas Dogra from Amity Institute of Management and Technology, Noida (Cash Prize of Rs.5000). The Second Position went to Utkarsh Arora from DOMS, IIT Roorkee (Cash Prize of Rs. 3000). Besides these, Award of Appreciation were given to Navdeep Kunwar from IMS Ghaziabad, Tanvi Gupta from FMS-IRM Jaipur and Shashwat Chaudhary from GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research.Also, 7 students- Agrima Mishra, Alok Kumar Tripathi, Gideon Ebainezer Naidu, Parushi Avasthi, Shally Sangwan, Ujjawal Saxena, Yug Pratap Singh were awarded with Certificate of Excellence and 4 students- Aparna Bhatnagar, Archit Sharma, Varun Soni and Ujjawal Saxena were awarded with Certificate of Internship for participating and supporting LEAD Global Conclave.Congratulations to all the winners!!
