To inculcate the culture of research amongst the budding managers of PGDM Batch 2020-22, IMS Ghaziabad, an institute known for its student centric initiatives, organized a ‘Dissertation Sensitization Session’ on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
Detailed understanding was provided on the critical role of Dissertation #Projects in the academic lives of #students in the thoughtfully conceived session. Carrying forward the conviction of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad, who firmly believes that students can be enabled to confidently embark on the rigorous journey of quality #research by giving them the necessary orientation, the session provided practical insights on the art of applying theoretical knowledge to significant real-life research problems and finding appropriate #solutions for the same.
The interactive session was enriched by the insights of Dr. Ajay Patel, Dean Students Affairs and Dr. Naveen Virmani, Area Chairperson, Operations, who acquainted the students about the Dissertation Project guidelines, timelines, evaluation parameters and other details. They motivated the #students to inculcate the habit of regularly reading quality journals and attending conferences. The #students were also apprised about the multiple support systems available in the institute to facilitate their research endeavors.
The session, coordinated by Dr. Sneha Pandey, was instrumental in stimulating the young minds to enthusiastically work on their research projects.
