To enable the young professionals effectively deal with stress in the current fast paced times, IMS Ghaziabad took a unique initiative by organizing a special session on ‘Yogic Ways of Stress Management’ for the PGDM students on November 16, 2021. The resource person of the engaging session was Shri Ramnish Vatsa, the eminent Yogacharya of global repute. The session was conceived under the umbrella of Expert Talk Series under the mentorship of Director, Dr. Urvashi Makkar to de stress and rejuvenates the budding managers.
Shri Ramnish emphasized that learning yoga at an early age can have lasting and immense benefits on the overall health and well-being of the students. Explaining the concept of sound #health, he discussed the common causes and consequences of stress. He demonstrated many breathing exercises, meditation techniques and beneficial yoga aasanas that left everyone spellbound.
Dr. Urvashi highlighted the role of yoga in fighting peer pressure, concentrating on the right things and building a great personality. Coordinated by Ms. Vaani Gandha and Mr. Ankit Garg, the interactive session witnessed enthusiastic participation by the faculty and staff who joined the yog guru in practicing the yoga mudras.
