Director, IMS Ghaziabad Graced International Conference by AIMA as Panelist

We are privileged to share that Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad was invited as Panelist in the International Conference on “Global Disruption & Transformation of Higher Education” organized by All India Management Association (AIMA) Vice Chancellors Council on March 11-12, 2022. Sharing her views on the theme “Global Scenario of Higher Education: Expectations & Values”, Dr. Urvashi highlighted that in the current post pandemic 21st century, no institution will be completely immune to the global changes that are reshaping the world. She emphasized that educational institutions must not put boundaries to the benchmarks for delivering academic quality and must critically reflect their strategies and operating models. Referring to National Education Policy 2020 as a ‘game changer’ for future, she opined that if the cumulative wisdom of the country is aligned for its effective implementation, no one can stop India from becoming a leader in the education sector.

The conference was graced by insights from eminent educationalists Dr. N.R. Parasuraman, Director, SDM Institute for Management Development ; Ms. Amy Memon, Regional Head, South Asia, AACSB International; Dr. P. Srinivas Rao, Director, Firebird Institute of Research in Management besides many other stalwarts from industry and academia on the challenges in higher education at the global level and rethinking on what needs to be done for today and tomorrow by the leadership in higher education institutions.
