IMS Ghaziabad Organized Reorientation Program for PGDM Batch 2021-23

We are pleased to share that IMS Ghaziabad organized “Re- Orientation Program 2022” on “Journey from Campus to Corporate” for Term IV students of PGDM Batch 2021-23 on August 02, 2022. Envisioned by Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad, the session was graced by the insights from Distinguished Speakers, Mr. DK BAKSHI, Chief Mentor & CEO, Global Talent Company Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Amit Pandey, CEO, PinCap Ltd. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Urvashi emphasized that “Institutional Culture is transferred from generation to generation” and inspired the senior students to be mentors & guides to their juniors and share the wisdom which they have gained during their rigorous Summer Internships for mutual synergistic growth. She further added that the Placement Season at IMS Ghaziabad is about to start with a big bang in the month of September with many A listed organizations visiting the campus for placement drives. Highlighting to the young minds that IMS Ghaziabad is one of the very few institutions to start the Placement drives so soon, she cautioned them by saying “Avoid falling in the trap of comfort, be alert & aligned to your goals and put in consistent efforts to realize them”.

The experts energized the young minds to be passionate about their work, develop confidence and enhance their skill sets for sustained success in their personal & professional endeavors. Addressing the learners as ‘youngistan’, Mr. D. K. Bakshi inspired them to instill the self-belief that “I am a proud Indian and I will turn my scars into stars”. Mr. Amit Pandey advised the learners to avoid compromising on their values, ethics and happiness while climbing up the ladder to success. Using numerous examples & anecdotes, he added that “The real meaning of the best job is to be in any job and make it the best job”.

The budding managers were apprised about the forthcoming events, activities and initiatives undertaken by the institute towards their corporate readiness & skill enhancements. Compered by Khushi Mishra & Anurag Singh and coordinated by Dr. Abhishek Bhushan Singhal & Dr. Rashi Singhal, the session was instrumental in realigning the young professionals with their goals and pursuing them with renewed rigor, zeal & vitality.
