IMS Ghaziabad celebrated India’s “74th Republic Day” and the auspicious festival of “Basant Panchami” on January 25, 2023 with patriotic fervour and vibrancy. The celebrations were graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad along with distinguished Guest of Honour, Lt. Cdr. (Retd.), Ms. Raunak Sharma, Joint Director, NAVAL, Indian Navy; Col. (Retd.)V. P. Bhagat and many more leading luminaries from diverse domains.

Inspiring the young leaders to inculcate an unfaltering grit and patriotism for the country, the dignitaries highlighted the crucial role of the youth of the nation in enabling the nation to make a glorious mark in the global arena. The campus echoed with the resonant sound of “Jai Hind” during the unfurling of the Tricolor by the dignitaries. In the spirit of patriotism, when commemoration of 75 years of Independence to unite the nation in the Tricolour is underway, IMS Ghaziabad has installed the tallest ever National Flag in Ghaziabad region of 137 feet height. Brimming with pride, the budding professionals of IMS Ghaziabad marched confidently to the echoing beats of “Saare Jahan se Achha”. Pledging their allegiance towards the nation, they proudly took the oath.

On the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, the dignitaries along with the students, faculty & staff of IMS Ghaziabad sought the blessings of the Goddess of knowledge, wisdom, art & culture by performing the traditional “Saraswati Pujan”. A vibrant cultural program was enthusiastically organized by the energetic PGDM students who showcased a colourful mix of songs, poetry and dance. The event witnessed a high octane environment full of energy and enthusiasm, brimming with the zealous participation of the students. The electrifying performances received standing ovations from one and all. Sweets & fruits were distributed as prasad amongst all present. Coordinated by Dr. Radhika Malhotra and Dr.Laxmi Pandey, the enthusiastic celebrations were a rich confluence of the glorious Indian tradition along with patriotism for the country.
