IMSians Contributed in World Record at ‘Global Climate Clock Assembly and Display”

We are proud to share that 5 dynamic students of IMS Ghaziabad from PGDM Batch 2022-24, Piyush Raj, Surbhi Garg, Suraj Maheshwari, Takshika Choudhary and Utkarsh Bajpai participated and displayed their climate clock at “World’s Largest Global Climate Clock Assembly and Display” at Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi on April 22, 2023. The mega event was organized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) jointly with Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog and Energy Swaraj Foundation on the occasion of World Earth Day 2023. More than 560 universities, educational institutions and other organisations spanned across India participated in the grand initiative. The budding managers assembled and displayed the climate clocks and entered the Asia Book of Records. The climate clock will be displayed in the institute premises in order to spread awareness. Surbhi Garg contested and bagged a prize in the online quiz. Our students got appreciation from Dr. Chetan Solanki, Solar Man of India during the event. The stadium was packed with climate enthusiasts and conscious individuals who pledged to take actions for climate conservation.

Taken forward under the guidance of Dr. Radhika Malhotra, Officiating Incharge, Director Office, IMS Ghaziabad and coordinated by Dr Pankaj Rawal, the endeavour was organized under the unique Student Outreach and Corporate Interface Series (CIS) of the institute, conceptualized to provide a transparent, vibrant and participative platform to the students for corporate exposure and practical learnings.
