Alumni Talk Series on “Leveraging Summer Internship” at IMS Ghaziabad

Carrying forward its initiatives for the corporate readiness of its young leaders, IMS Ghaziabad organized an Alumni Talk Series on “Leveraging Your Summer Internship: Insights and Best Practices for Securing a Pre-Placement Offer” on May 12, 2023. The session witnessed insights from distinguished alumni Ms. Shweta Singh, Head HR, Sitara (SEWA Grih Rin Limited), (Batch 2006-08) and Mr. Rachit Kumar, Channel Sales Head, Distribution, Fincart (Batch 2010-12). Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Radhika Malhotra, Program Chairperson welcomed the alumni and congratulated them for their achievements and bringing glory to the institute. She advised the budding managers to imbibe the core values of IMS Ghaziabad namely socially responsive, agility, collaborative, respect, ethics and diligence and always try to extract maximum learnings from their upcoming summer internship.

The alumni inspired the young minds with their success stories which they had earned by hard work, sincerity, dedication and practicing a rigorous routine. They shared many anecdotes from their professional journey and motivated their juniors to confidently embark on their professional journey. The inquisitive students participated enthusiastically and cleared their doubts from the experts. Compered by Arunima Srivastava & Faizan Ansari and coordinated by Dr. Gaurav Saxena, Dr. Laxmi Pandey and Dr. Shipra Mishra, the pertinent session was instrumental in enabling the budding professionals to understand how Summer Internships can be successfully used as the first rung in climbing the corporate ladder and grabbing a Pre Placement Offer.
