IMS Ghaziabad organized Online Mock Interview Session for MCA (2018-21) & (2019-21) Students. The Mock Interviews were conducted by Senior Alumnus and Industry Experts in four batches. The Mock Interviews were conducted by Manish Saraswat (Adobe), MCA (2007-10), Mr. Gaurav Rajput (SEW) (2010-13) & Mr. Brajendra Pandey (ASK-FAST), (MCA 2009-12) and Mr. Akhil Kulshrestha (TCS-Poland) MCA (2008-11). Students were interviewed one by one by the Alumni’s and were given useful tips on how to face online interviews; how to overcome their fear and improve upon their technical & interpersonal skill sets. Students enthusiastically participated in the discussions and learnt a lot.

IMS Ghaziabad organized Online Mock Interview Session for MCA (2018-21) & (2019-21) Students. The Mock Interviews were conducted by Senior Alumnus and Industry Experts in four batches. The Mock Interviews were conducted by Md. Adnan (Amazon), MCA (2007-10), Ms. Reetika Mathur (Fiserv, Gurgaon) & Mr. Paras (Wipro, India), (MCA 2009-12) and Mr. Akhil Kaliyar (Scheppend Technology) MCA (2015-17). Students were interviewed one by one by the Alumni’s and were given useful tips on how to face online interviews; how to overcome their fear and improve upon their technical & interpersonal skill sets. Students enthusiastically participated in the discussions and learnt a lot.

These words aren’t enough to summarize the PGDM ‘Fresher’s Party’, at IMS Ghaziabad. The senior PGDM batch 2018-20 organized an extravagant fresher’s party on September 24, 2019. It was an ecstasy filled afternoon, where the fresher’s got an opportunity not only to showcase their talents but also to interact with their seniors. Jovial smiles and high spirits marked the welcome party for the students. The blossoming minds entered the auditorium sticking to the theme “UDBHAV”. Prof. Alok Pandey, Director-IMS Ghaziabad, heartily welcomed the PGDM batch 2019-21 students. The event was nothing short of an award night with The PGDM first year batch participating whole heartedly for the titles of Mr. and Ms. Fresher – 2019. The run for the titles was further glorified by gala song and dance performances by the seniors. Mr. Tarun Singh and Ms. Ananya Yadav were crowned Mr. and Ms Fresher’s 2019 respectively. Mr. Rohan Jain and Ms. Richa Sharma bagged Mr. and Ms. Popular -2019. Mr. Satvik and Ms. Shraddha Rani nailed Mr. and Ms. Talented 2019. And Mr. Mudit Shamshukha and Ms. Piyali Aich bagged Mr. and Ms. Well Dressed-2019. All the Winners were felicitated by the Honourable Director Prof. Alok Pandey, Dean-Academics Dr. Tapan Kumar Nayak along with Faculty Judges and last year’s Mr. and Ms. Fresher. The electrifying atmosphere was filled with fun, enthusiasm and excitement followed by DJ and refreshing dinner
Under the visionary leadership of Prof. Alok Pandey, Ph D, Director- IMS Ghaziabad, Center for Research on Managing Insolvency and Bankruptcy (CROMIB) was inaugurated by Mr. Amarjit Chopra, Past President ICAI and Former Chairman, NACAS on May 13, 2019. It is the first Strategic Research Unit (SRU) of the institute.
Under the visionary leadership of Prof. Alok Pandey, Ph D, Director- IMS Ghaziabad, Center for Research on Managing Insolvency and Bankruptcy (CROMIB) was inaugurated by Mr. Amarjit Chopra, Past President ICAI and Former Chairman, NACAS on May 13, 2019. It is the first Strategic Research Unit (SRU) of the institute.
The CROMIB will spearhead advance research on all issues related to Insolvency and Bankruptcy in India. It will seek to actively liaise with all stakeholders like IBBI, NCLT, NCLAT, MCA, Banks, Firms and other statutory bodies.
Prof. Alok Pandey expressed confidence that in the course of time, CROMIB will come to be acknowledged as a leading contributor to the intellectual capital on policy issues related to Insolvency and Bankruptcy.
Sri Chopra then addressed the faculty members in a special seminar on the theme “Corporate Governance- Research Imperatives”. Having been there and done it, he shared some rare insights on why there have been multi-lateral failures on governance in India. His talk evoked many questions from the audience and animated discussions. The audience found the session highly engaging and enlightening.
Prof. Alok Pandey welcomed the guest and set the tone of the seminar in his address. Dr. Tapan K Nayak, Dean (Academics-PGDM), Dr. Pankaj K Agarwal, Dean-Research, Dr. Anita Singh, Area Chair -HR, Dr. Vijesh Jain, Dean-MDP and Ms Shinu Vij, Assistant Professor-Business Law were also present among all other faculty members.
