Life at IMS Ghaziabad
I joined IMS Ghaziabad on 27th June, 2022. We are the blessed once to get an induction programme of whole 1 week from 27th June -2nd July. We learnt to “jump into the well” and got clear understanding about “opportunities and challenges for budding managers” from CEO’s, directors, Co founders, Heads, etc of different organisations. We had Management Development programme on marketing and different workshops like Microsoft excel Certification course on advance excel etc. IMS also have various clubs and societies that are typically run by students. IMS is having PGP committee, CR, markwiz club, finacle club, saksham club, aayam club, aarohan club, data analytics club, the pioneers club, smart club and many more.
A journey within
The journey of a PGDM is also a journey within. We stay on campus, away from our comfort zones, spending limited time with our families and friends from the life before we came to IMS. We work hard day in and day out, trying to out-perform the next person on the block. In the midst of all this, we do end up learning a lot more about ourselves and our priorities. As IMS attract people from diverse backgrounds, students also learn a lot about other cultures, stories which inspire and broaden our horizon and in the process we develop the skill to connect and interact with different people, a skill which is much needed in a global workforce of today. Getting into and out of a b-school can be a life-transforming experience for many students as we go through so many vivid experiences that reshape our thoughts about the world around us. In that sense, the journey is an enlightening one.
In the journey of 2 months here we visited factory of coca cola situated in greater noida which was the first industrial visit of us in IMS and we came to know about all the history of coca cola and the production, packaging and distribution process of coca cola.
Now I would like to narrate all the achievements I achieved in IMS. I am the PGP member (campus influencer) of my college, CR of my section and member of smart team and for all these achievement I would like to thank my Director ma’am Dr. Urvashi Makkar for trusting on my capabilities and believing on my abilities.

Industry Institute Interaction
With the purpose of giving real life exposure to students, many Industry visits are organized. When students visit these industries the senior executives take them around and explain to them all the processes. This experience gives a significant insight to the students.
Corporate Interface is an important aspect to be acquainted with Industry trends and updates for aspiring managers. Interaction between Academia & Industry is essential for enhancing the management learning. We interact with industry / Corporate on a continuous basis to keep abreast with their needs. The feedback from Industry will enable the Institute to introduce, modify and channel all academic and other processes for educating and grooming future leaders and entrepreneurs. This way we bring the corporate world into the classroom for the students to learn on a real time basis. The students get the platform to interact with the professionals and get opportunities to work with the esteemed organisations.
This year’s Corporate Interface Series was a great success. We want to thank all our esteemed speakers and our moderator for their enthusiasm and wonderful participation.

The event was organised on 2nd September 2022 it was held in the Le meridians New Delhi.I Tejas Raj Saxena as a member of smart team, had the pleasure to attend the event “The Corporate Interface Series” I was also responsible for all media management that is going life taking pictures recording videos. Along with me my batchments also accompanied me. We went there by bus and as we reached we were assigned to distribute the Pamphlets. The session started in no time and various events and programs were organised. Events like
1.National conclave of Academy industry and nep ,
2.Golden signature Research and consulting
3. 11th higher education and skill Summit.
The sessions and programs have added a new dimension to learning.
We had an awesome and delightful lunch.
Hearing from various expertise lifetime experience.
Our college IMS Ghaziabad one outstanding be School in North India award and our respected director mam Mr. Urvashi Makkar won the best director award.
The event was a big hit coming live on social media. also helped others students to watch the event it was a surreal experience, and no doubt events like this help to gain spectrum of knowledge. At last I am very thankful to the management team for allowing me to experience such event and getting exposure.
No doubt this is a great initiative by the IMS Ghaziabad as it helps to learn about various dimensions and topics. Pursuing for a post graduation, these initiative and sessions helps us a student to be different from the league and apply a more practical approach. The sessions in future will no doubt help to build our personality and help us in future.
