IMS Ghaziabad organizes Industrial Visit to Mother Dairy.

Carrying forward our initiatives for providing practical exposure to our budding managers, IMS Ghaziabad is organizing an Industrial Visit to Mother Dairy, Patparganj, New Delhi for PGDM Batch 2022-24 on May 15, 2023.

Conceptualized under the mentorship of Dr. Radhika Malhotra, Officiating In charge, Director’s Office and organized by Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) of the institute, the visit will provide the students an understanding of the functional domains of operations, marketing, logistics, IT in the FMCG sector.

Mother Dairy, a market leader in milk and milk products, was commissioned in 1974 under Operation Flood, the world’s biggest dairy development program launched to make India a milk sufficient nation.

IMS Ghaziabad was graced by the august presence of Prof Dr Rakesh Kumar Khandal, President R & D and Business Development, India Glycols Ltd. as Chief Guest during the Inaugural Session of the prestigious 14th International Conference on “Re-imagining Business Dynamics: Digital Transformations in Disrupted World (IMSICON-2023)” on April 29, 2023. The mega conference was organized under the patronage of Shri Naresh Agarwal, Chairman, IMS Group of Institutions; Shri Nitin Agarwal, Managing Trustee, Governing Body, IMS Ghaziabad and guidance of Dr. Radhika Malhotra, Officiating Incharge, Director’s Office along with Conference Chair, Dr. Vaishali Agarwal.

Jubilant Winners of “Business Model Canvas (BMC) Competition” organized at IMS Ghaziabad under the aegis of AICTE

We take pride in sharing that IMS Ghaziabad organized a unique “Business Model Canvas (BMC) Competition” under the aegis of AICTE’s Celebrating India’s Presidency of the G20 highlighting the role of “Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Start-up to Achieve the Goals” on April 11, 2023 under the guidance of Dr. Radhika Malhotra, Officiating Incharge, Director Office. The interactive session inspired the students to come up with ideas and helped them picture the numerous components needed to launch a successful business. We congratulate the team of Rahmeen Fatima, Shreya Garg, Ronit Singh, S. Sai Sacheen and Nupur Kumari for grabbing the first position. The second position was bagged by Vikash Shahi, Parveen Pandey, Chirag Srivastava. There was a tie for the second position between the teams of Deepika Singh, Ayushi Singh, Dipak Kumar, Divyanshu Deep Mishra and that of Riddhima, Rajat, Sakshi Taneja, Ridhi, Sumit Kumar. The winners will be attached & mentored by the industry experts in converting their business idea into entrepreneurial ventures. All the BMC Models Canvas were displayed in the recently organized premier 14th International Conference- IMSICON 2023 on April 29, 2023 in the Students’ Poster Presentation Session.

The unique initiative conceptualized by Center of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE)’s Pioneer Club of the institute and coordinated by Dr. Laxmi Pandey, Dr. Rudresh Pandey, Dr. Abhishek Bhushan Singhal & Dr. Naveen Virmani, was instrumental in motivating the learners to use the Business Model Canvas for developing a feasible business model.
