Alumni Interaction for Formation of IMS Ghaziabad Alumni Association (IMSGAA), August 31, 2019
Alumni are one of the strongest pillars of IMS Ghaziabad. Creating an engaged, supportive alumni network is important to an institution’s success and for this IMS keep its alumni informed about the progress of the institute. With the objective to promote and foster mutually beneficial interaction between the Alumni, faculty and the present students of the IMS, under the dynamic leadership of Prof. Alok Pandey, Director IMS Ghaziabad an alumni interaction for the formation of IMS Ghaziabad Alumni Association (IMSGAA) was organized on 31st August 2019, Saturday. The event was blessed with the presence of senior alumnus of PGDM & MCA course, who are holding top positions in various MNC’s in India & Abroad.
After the warm & hearty welcome by Prof. Alok Pandey, the alumni were introduced to the Memorandum of Association (MoA) & Bye Laws of IMSGAA by Dr. Anita Singh, Associate Dean –Alumni in the presence of Dr. Tapan Kumar Nayak, Dean-Academics, Dr Sachin Malhotra, Dean Academics – MCA, Mr. S.P Singh, Registrar IMS Ghaziabad, Deans of other dept. and members of alumni office.
The Alumnus were happy for this great initiative and congratulated IMS for this legacy and showed their commitment for active involvement for further developments in future making the bond even more strong.

23rd Mega Alumni Meet at IMS Ghaziabad
IMS Ghaziabad organized its 23rd Mega Alumni Meet on February 20, 2016. Shri. Pramod Agarwal, Managing Trustee – IMS Society; Shri Rakesh Chharia, General Secretary, IMS Society; Dr. Tapan Kumar Nayak, Director, IMS Ghaziabad welcomed more than 400 Alumni of PGDM & MCA Programme. 20 Alumni have been felicitated with Distinguished alumni and Young achiever award during the ceremony for their excellent contribution in professional life. The cultural evening was graced with the Celebrity Performance of Ms.PurvaMantri which was witnessed by over 1000 members of IMS Family followed by dinner.
2nd ALUMNI TALK SERIES at IMS Ghaziabad
Alumni are the foundation of an Institute, who are leader and pioneer in the corporate industry and acts as a torchbearer for their upcoming generation. In order to polish the PGDM Students, 2nd Mock Interview session has been planned where alumni interacted with the current batch and guided them by sharing open feedback.
IMS Ghaziabad invited its eminent and very talented Alumni Ms. Shipra Sharma Choudhary, National Manager Training and Development – RE/MAX India, during the Second Alumni talk series for the PGDM batch 2015-17 held on Saturday, January 16, 2015. The session started by motivating and inspiring words from Dr. Tapan Kumar Nayak, Director – IMS Ghaziabad. Ms. Shipra shared her enriching experiences of a successful journey with the students. She shared innumerable tips on building a strong and powerful Resume. She enlightened the current batch with fundamentals and guidelines about how they can do well in the corporate world. Her session was indeed a value addition and eye opener for our PGDM 2015-17 batch. The session ended with interactive questions-answer round and students had dual benefits of getting reconnected with the alumni and learning from her experiences.
Essay competition – Participation Open
On the occasion of International Yoga Day’ on 21st June 2015, IMS Ghaziabad is organizing an Online Essay Competition to commemorate the spirit of well-being. The objective of the program is to create awareness about the culture of Yoga in India and benefits of practising yoga and integrating it in our daily lives.
The competition is open for two categories :
– Students
– Faculty and Staff Members
Essay competition topics are:
– Modern living and Yoga
– Yoga at workplace
– Integrating Yoga with Professional life
Takeaways and Prizes:
– Best five essays will be selected from both categories and awarded with Certificate of Merit and prizes.
Language:
– Hindi or English
Limit:
– 1000-1500 words on any of the topic at the email given below
Evaluation criteria:
1. Interpretation of topic/introduction
2. Structure and flow
3. Language and grammar
4. Creativity/Originality
5. Relevance
6. Conclusion
Terms and conditions:
(i) The typed essays should be reached on or before 18.06.2015 at 1500 hrs.
(ii) Please write your name, address, school/college, phone no. and e-mail address on essay.
(iii) Please clearly write in the subject – ‘Entry for Essay Competition’ and send your essays to – competition@imsgzb.com.
(iv) The essays sent for participation will be the property of IMS Ghaziabad, and the institute can use, print and publish these at its discretion.
