IMS Ghaziabad is organizing an intensive ORIENTATION PROGRAMME for MCA Batch (2018-21) & Lateral Entry: Batch (2018-2020) on Monday, August 20, 2018. MCA Programme is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Dr. A.P.J.A.K.T.U, Lucknow. The purpose of this program is to acquaint the budding technocrats with the Institute, its infrastructure, facilities & resources, faculty, staff & administration. The Students will get an insight in to IMS culture and philosophy apart from being introduced to the academic rigor of the course.
Prof. Prem Vrat, Pro-Chancellor, Professor of Eminence & Chief Mentor, The NorthCap University, Gurugram, Founder Director IIT Roorkee and Former Vice Chancellor – UPTU, Lucknow and Prof. (Dr) R. K. Khandal, President R&D and Business Development, India Glycols Ltd & Former Vice-Chancellor – Dr. A.P.J.A.K.T.U, Lucknow have given their kind consent to be the Eminent Speakers for the programme. The students will be sensitized with the pragmatic experiences of the corporate world and its expectations from them in the challenging and changing Global scenario

Outbound Programme for New PGDM Entrants 2018-20 Batch, July 11-13, 2018 IMS Firmly believes that the real learning occurs beyond the classrooms. Hence to inculcate Team Work, Leadership, Group Dynamics and Communication skills amongst the new admitted PGDM Batch, an extensive Outbound Programme was organized at IMS Ghaziabad. The Students, divided into groups participated enthusiastically in parallel activities namely Spider Web – Cross the web, Perfect Square – Create a perfect square whilst being blindfolded, Magic Matt – Cross from one side to another with Matt without touching the ground, Trust Fall – Free Fall and Roller Coaster – Create a platform where Ball moves from one end to another on its own without any manual intervention. Students from Two sections each were divided into four groups for activities apart from Roller Coaster which was a combined activity. The Students enjoyed the fun-filled activities throughout the day and learned the true management principles for Life.

IMS Ghaziabad Celebrated Teachers Day on September 05, 2017
“Guru Bramah, Guru Vishnu, Gurudevo Maheshwarah, Guru sakshaat param brahm, tasmay shri guruve namah” ,with these emotions in heart and soul, the students of PGDM and MCA glorified the importance and conveyed deep sense of gratitude for their teachers by organizing Teachers day celebration on 5th September 2017 at IMS Ghaziabad. The day started with the inaugural remarks of Dr. Tapan Kumar Nayak, Programme Chairperson, wherein he expressed his reverence towards Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and focused upon the significance of celebrating this day .Further he congratulated the students for organizing a marvelous event and encouraged them to carry forward this legacy to the corporate world.
Shri Pramod Agarwal, honorable Managing Trustee, IMS Ghaziabad graced the occasion with his eminent presence. He felicitated the student winners of “My Mentor-My Career Architect”, an initiative by admission department of IMS to acknowledge the efforts of academicians countrywide who left a seal on their students psychology by guiding their students in every domain of life. He further announced that, IMS would like to acknowledge the unending mentorship of such academicians towards their students by felicitating the mentors in their respective Colleges and Institutions.
The celebration was marked by exuberant performances by IMS music band, screening of video, messages by students, dance performances followed by the cake cutting ceremony by all members of academic fraternity, students and staff.
