PGDM (Big-Data Analytics) & MCA students of IMS, Ghaziabad visited the global I.T giant IBM Research, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi which is one of the world’s largest and most influential corporate research organizations.
PGDM (Big-Data Analytics) & MCA students of IMS, Ghaziabad visited the global I.T giant IBM Research, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi which is one of the world’s largest and most influential corporate research organizations. This visit to IBM was a jaw-dropping experience for many of the students. During the visit, they not only interacted with the senior authorities in the company but also attended an interesting presentation on the profile and functioning of the company. The students thoroughly understood the nuances of the big data analysis and its significance globally.
This is worth mention here that IMS is running a Two Year full Time PGDM programme in Big Data Analytics in collaboration with global IT major IBM. The objective of the programme is to bridge the skill gap of prevailing current breed of data analytics professionals. This would ensure supply of professionals with the right skill sets to propel India in the Industry quickly. The Programme has been approved by AICTE. IMS Ghaziabad has signed an MoU with IBM with a purpose of delivering world class training and exposure to all students. This MoU with IBM would cover establishment of IBM Business Analytics Lab at IMS with latest data analytics software and tools including Watson, Cognos , R, Python, Tableau and training to all students. The MoU would ensure support for students by IBM certified professionals in the area of Business Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, Big Data Engineering, Artificial intelligence. IBM would also offer international certification to all students in various specialized areas. The main thrust of this program is to imbibe a sense of Big Data outlook in solving business problems. Various job sectors comprising of job offers in the specialized area of Big Data Analytics include job profiles such as Business Analytics specialist, Predictive Analytics, Big Data Engineer, Machine Learning Analyst, BI Specialist, Big Data Architect, Data Visualization Developer, Sales/ marketing/CRM/Risk Analytics specialist etc.
