Blood Donation Camp at IMS Ghaziabad
Being a socially proactive institution, IMS Ghaziabad organized Blood Donation Camp at its campus on July 22, 2019 in association with Rotary Club, Sahibabad. Various eminent members of Rotary Club marked their presence during the inaugural ceremony of the event. Mr. Deepak Gupta, District Governor, Rotary Club was the Chief Guest for the day, Mr. Sandeep Garg, Project Chairman along with many eminent Rotary members marked their benign presence as special guests. Shri Vidhur Chharia, President, Rotary Club and Shri Rakesh Chharia, General Secretary, IMS society infused positivity among all present during the ribbon cutting ceremony. Prof. Alok Pandey, Director, IMS Ghaziabad welcomed all the dignitaries, appreciated the efforts of all the organizing committee members and motivated the students for volunteering as donors in this noble cause. All the Faculty & Staff members along with PGDM and MCA students gathered to convey the message of humanity to the society by donating more than 125 units of blood. The conveners, Dr. Sunayana Jain and Ms. Anchal expressed heartiest thanks to everyone who stood up in making this event a grand success. Rotary Club saluted the spirit of IMSians and promised to come up with another such drive in near future.
Two Live Projects by PGDM First Year Students
In order to experience the real life corporate challenges, IMS Ghaziabad provided opportunity to pursue a LIVE PROJECT to all 300 First year PGDM Students during 11th to 16th August 2015 with renowned brands Big Bazaar and Pantaloons.
IMS Ghaziabad has given an opportunity to work on Six days live project where fresh minds have learned the basics of market research, product promotion activities, strategic planning and new launches. The project acted as a platform where students accomplished networking, leveraging, and develop connect with the right people through customer interaction. Through live project, students were able to channelize their ideas in the right direction by working with experience entrepreneurs and taking it to next level by outgrowing into a new business idea. The main objective of live project was to enhance the knowledge of students and to improve communication, logical, analytical skills and customer interaction and which has been successfully fulfilled. It aimed at providing a support system to budding entrepreneurs.
Blood Donation Drive at IMS Ghaziabad
In order to contribute towards a noble cause for the society, IMS Ghaziabad has organized Blood Donation Drive on August 14, 2015. Shri Rakesh Chharia Ji, General Secretary, IMS Ghaziabad and Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director IMS Ghaziabad welcomed Mr. Sanjay Bahadur, Head Corporate Affairs, Sahara India; Mr. P.K. Agrawal, President, INO, Ghaziabad Chapter; Ms. Usha Agrawal and Mr. Vijay Baghal, Green Man, Ghaziabad on this noble cause of Blood Donation Drive.
In association with Lions Club, All the Faculty and Staff members and 1000 students of PGDM and MCA Programme had gathered to convey the message in society, “You don’t have to have a medical degree to save a life. Just a fair degree of humanity”.
Students were full of enthusiasm and energy to save humanity and their participation was heartly welcomed by Lions Club. Long queues before the registration counters were demarcating the passion of youngsters and inspiring the whole institute to willingly donate blood. Not even students but Faculty and Staff Members also contributed in large numbers to this pious cause.
Donors were in large numbers than anticipated by the Lions Club, as they fell short of Blood Bags and logistic support. Lions Club saluted the spirit of IMSians and promised to come up with another such occasion in near future. More than 175 units of blood was donated at Institute premises.

IMS Ghaziabad is Celebrating 68th Independence Day on August 15, 2014 at Lal Kuan Campus. Let us join hands in paying our homage to our freedom fighters…!!!
IMS Ghaziabad in also organizing a Blood Donation Camp in association with Lions Blood Bank & District MMG Hospital Ghaziabad on 14th August, 2014 to commemorate the 68th Independence Day.
Let us all make it a grand success by each of us joining hands together and donating blood to help someone in need and experience a beautiful and accomplished feeling.
