This award honors outstanding Directors whose achievements have made a broad impact on society. Melange -17, An Inter Institute Annual Cultural Festival, March 24-25, 2017 at IMS Ghaziabad, Lal Kaun Campus IMS Ghaziabad organized its Inter Institute Annual Cultural Festival “Melange -17”, March 24-25, 2017. The Mega Event was inaugurated by Ms. Nidhi Kesarwani, (IAS), Honorable District Magistrate, Ghaziabad in the august presence of Sh. Pramod Agarwal, Managing Trustee IMS Ghaziabad, Sh. Sanjay Agarwal, Chairman IMS Society, Sh. Rakesh Chharia, General Secretary IMS Society, Dr. Sraban Mukherjee, Director IMSEC and Prof. J. P. Sharma, Director IMS Ghaziabad. Prof. J. P. Sharma welcomed the Chief Guest & other dignitaries and congratulated the Faculty & Staff for organizing a huge and wonderful event. Ms. Nidhi kesarwani advised the students to stick to their roots, culture, respect thy country and urged them to be patient, to work hard and most of all be a good human being. The Event flagged off by spectacular performances from students and witnessed huge participation from around 70 reputed Universities / Colleges including 17 Teams from Delhi University Departments & Colleges in various events. Alumni Talk Series for PGDM Students at IMS Ghaziabad
Alumni are the foundations of an Institute and acts as a torchbearer for their upcoming generation. In order to refine our PGDM Students and give them a Glimpse of the Corporate World, Alumni Talk Series are regularly planned where senior Alumni interact with the current students and guide them by sharing open feedback. IMS Ghaziabad invited its eminent and very talented Senior Alumni’s, Mr. Debashis Das, Founder & Partner, Unleash Potentia, Mr. Peeyush Dayal Mathur, Vice President, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking, Mr. Bishwa Mohan Jha, Vice President, Graphic Adds P. Ltd during the Alumni talk series organized for the PGDM batch 2016-18 on Saturday, March 04, 2017.
Prof. J.P Sharma, Director – IMS Ghaziabad during his welcome address applauded the Senior Alumni and praised them for sparing valuable time for their alma mater. Mr. Das motivated the student to become intrapreneur in their job, irrespective of the company they work for. Mr. Mathur, inspired the students to improve on their inner competencies and remain energized to perform better in the corporate world. Mr. Jha talked about the three mantras – dedication, determination and Education to be successful in corporate life.
The session ended with interactive questions-answer round and vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Tapan k. Nayak, Programme Chairperson – PGDM. PGDM Students felt a lot wiser apart from having dual benefits of getting reconnected with the alumni as well as learning from their experiences.

“Spardha-2017” Annual Sports Day at IMS Ghaziabad IMS Ghaziabad organized its Annual Sports Day “Spardha-2017” on February 28, 2017. Prof. J.P Sharma, Director – IMS Ghaziabad inaugurated the Sports Day by emphasizing the significance of staying fit in today’s era. In his encouraging words, he boosted up the confidence of the participants and multiplied their energy with sporty spirit. More than 500 students did participate in various sports activities like Gully Cricket, Three legged Race and Tug of War, etc. The Team of Anuj Gupta, Mohit Bosoya, Krishna Pratap Singh, Asish Narayan Yadav, Ravi Ranjan Yadav (MCA) and Ankit Chaudhary (PGDM) won the Gully Cricket. In Three Legged Race, the First position among Girls was secured by Deepika Geetanjali and Diksha Mishra (MCA) and 2nd Position by Preeti Gupta and Roshni Goswami (MCA) whereas amongst the boys, First position was secured by Ravi and Divyansh (MCA) and Anuj and Ashish (MCA) were at the second position. In Chess, the team of Mohit Besoya (MCA), Vivek (PGDM) and Prachi Chaudhary (MCA) were the winners. In Tug of War, The team of Geetika, Nishita, Madhabilata, Riya, Shivi, Mahvish, Akshita won among the Girls and Team of Arbaz, Ankit, Aakash Pratap Singh, Aakash Chauhan, Anuj Chaudhary, Ankit Saini, Akshay Raj, Kamal, Zuber, Anuj won among the boys. The students showcased their multifaceted talents with great zeal and passion. The Faculty & Staff members too enjoyed the day by participating in an exciting Gully Cricket match.

IMS Ghaziabad, embarked on a new journey, where opportunities are seized and milestones are achieved. Fulfilling its commitment to provide Global exposure to its PGDM students, IMS Ghaziabad organized International Educational Tour to East Asia Institute of Management, Singapore (EASB). The purpose of this visit was to generate an exchange of experience and good practices between the East Asia Institute of Management, Singapore (EASB) and IMS Ghaziabad.
The faculty coordinators and students were fortunate enough to interact with authorities at EASB, Mr. Jacky Leng, Country Director (International and Singapore), and Mr. Daniel Ho, Region Manager (India). The Endeavour was a unique experience since apart from offering the students a deeper insight into the rapidly developing economy of Singapore; it also facilitated the students to grasp valuable information about the education pattern and course curriculum followed at EASB. PGDM students felt ecstatic after experiencing the facilities and the infrastructure provided at EASB.
The visit ended with a positive note. An invitation was extended to Mr. Jacky Leng and Mr. Daniel Ho to visit IMS, Ghaziabad campus during their forth coming visit to India in the month of April, 2017. It was an enriching experience for the students and faculty of IMS.
