IMS Ghaziabad organized Hyderabad Chapter Alumni Meet
IMS Ghaziabad organized its first ever Hyderabad Chapter Alumni Meet on December 16, 2016 at Aditya Park – A Sarovar Portico Hotel, Ameerpet, Hyderabad Following the vision laid by our Director, Prof. J.P Sharma, IMS Ghaziabad Alumni Committee plans to engage alumni in several activities throughout the year & connect with the growing alumni base. The chapter body plans to have numerous meets in various cities which would include batch meets, informal interactions etc. to foster the alumni connect. Hyderabad Chapter Meet was our small step to connect the Alumnus working there. With your support, we plan to conduct many more such successful events in the near future.

ELECTRIFYING, MESMERISING, THRILLING!!
These words aren’t enough to summarise the PGDM “Fresher’s Party”, at IMS Ghaziabad. The senior PGDM batch organized a sumptuous fresher’s party on the September 29, 2016.The purpose of the event was that every “fresher” of institute feels like an integral part of the IMS family and ready to take on challenge of the year ahead. It was an ecstasy filled afternoon, where the freshers got an opportunity not only to showcase their talents and but also to interact with their seniors. Jovial smiles and high spirits marked the welcome party for the students. The blossoming minds entered the auditorium sticking to the theme “Dashing & Diva” with gigantic transformations. It felt like entering into another dimension utopia of wonder.
On behalf of Prof. J.P. Sharma, Director, IMS Ghaziabad, Dr. Tapan Kumar Nayak, Program Chairperson, PGDM heartily welcomed the PGDM students. With pulsating ambience, flashing lights, bright colors and foot tapping music, the party began with a blast. Joy and happiness could be seen among the students.. It was then followed by a gala dance performance from the senior batch 2015-17, and other magnanimous performances. The PGDM first year batch participated whole heartedly for the titles of Mr. and Ms. Fresher 2016. Neelansh Mamgain and Bhumika Dhakar were crowned Mr. and Miss Fresher’s 2016. Jaineet Kalra and Sheen Ansari bagged Mr. and Ms. Popular 2016 along with Akansh Nigam and Neha Kumari as Mr. Dashing and Ms. Diva 2016.
The electrifying atmosphere was filled with fun, enthusiasm and excitement.

Technical Workshop for MCA Students by Global I.T Company – CEBS, September 26-27, 2016
Keeping up with its commitment to provide holistic development and Industry Exposure to all its MCA Students, IMSGhaziabad, under the stewardship of Prof. J.P. Sharma, Director IMS Ghaziabad, organized a ‘Technical Workshop on Cutting Edge I.T Technologies’ for MCA Students on September 26-27, 2016. The workshop was conducted as part of “Industry Academia Interface” by CEBS – A growing Global I.T Company dedicated to develop E-business tools, Applications, and Custom solutions using proven tools & technologies. CEBS is one of regular recruiters of MCA Students at IMS Ghaziabad.
The programme witnessed the gracious presence of Mr. Anurag Dubey, H.R Manager, CEBS, Mr. Dhiraj Pathak, Sr. Technical Expert, CEBS and Mr Sagar Bhalla, Technical Trainer, CEBS along with Dr. Avadhesh Kumar Gupta, HOD-MCA, Mr. Tushar Sharma, Manager Placements, MCA and all the faculty members of MCA Department.
The objective of this training was to give an exposure and understanding of latest technologies used in Industry. Senior Technical experts from CEBS extensively trained the students on development using Java and Android platforms with practical hands on and a lot of discussion revolved around the future of I.T Industry. The workshop was particularly useful for the students in enhancing their project work in addition to updating their domain knowledge thereby enhancing their productivity and employability.
