Third round of Online Mock Interviews conducted by Senior Alumni & Industry Experts for MCA Students, August 08, 2020
IMS Ghaziabad organized 3rd round of Online Mock Interviews for MCA (2018-21) & (2019-21) Students. The Mock Interviews were conducted by Senior Alumnus and Industry Experts in four batches. The Mock Interviews were conducted by Mr. Vaibhav Mishra, Utildex (MCA 2008-2011), Mr. Nikhil Jain, Amazon, Gurgaon (MCA 2008-2011), Mr. Ashish Rastogi, NIIT Technologies, (MCA 2010-2013) and Mr. Raja Bhaiya, Harman International (MCA 2009-2012). Students were interviewed one by one by the Alumni’s and were given useful tips on how to face online interviews; how to overcome their fear and improve upon their technical & interpersonal skill sets. Students enthusiastically participated in the discussions and learnt a lot.

IMS Ghaziabad organized Online Software Testing Workshop for MCA (2018-21) & (2019-21) Students. The Workshop was conducted by Mr. Sushil Singh, Technical Lead, HCL Technologies and MCA 2008-2011 Alumnus of IMS Ghaziabad. During the workshop, sushil introduced various concepts of Testing – manual and automation among other and also demonstrated the use of selenium in testing. He took various examples and also gave students tips for cracking placement interviews. Students were very much pleased & satisfied with the practical exposure gained during the workshop.

IMS Ghaziabad organized a webinar on “Devops:Basic for Beginners” for MCA Students on April 04, 2020, under the kind patronage of DrAlok P, Director, IMS Ghaziabad. The Webinar was conducted by Senior Alumnus of MCA 2001-04 Batch, Mr Sundeep Bahl, currently associated with UnitedHealth Group.
Keeping up with its commitment of providing high end quality education amidst the lock-down, IMS Ghaziabad organized a webinar on “Devops:Basic for Beginners” for MCA Students on April 04, 2020, under the kind patronage of DrAlok P, Director, IMS Ghaziabad. The Webinar was conducted by Senior Alumnus of MCA 2001-04 Batch, Mr Sundeep Bahl, currently associated with UnitedHealth Group.
The Webinar was attended by all MCA Second Year Students and moderated by Dr Sachin Malhotra, Dean MCA & Area Chair – I.T. During the Webinar, Sundeep talked about different methodologies, Why devops is popular & how is it different from the previous approaches of development. He also gave the students a deeper insight into the CICD pipeline process and tools used in Devops. The role of Git and other popular tools/platforms like Jenkins, Ant, Maven, Kubernetes, Docker, JIRA, Rally, Ansible etc was also discussed. He also took a lot of examples of Industry leaders like AMAZON, Google, OLA etc during his discussions and how they are using these tools.
Students interacted a lot during the webinar and gained useful insights from the webinar. They were very happy and felt a lot wiser after the session.
